Marathi festive designs need more than attractive lettering. Incorrect characters, awkward line breaks, or unclear wording can make an otherwise polished advertisement difficult to read.
Ask the client for approved Marathi copy, then review spelling, names, addresses, and product terminology. If translation is required, treat it as a separate task and arrange review by someone proficient in the language.
Choose a font that correctly displays the required Devanagari characters and combinations. Test the exact headline rather than relying on a font preview. Check matras, conjuncts, punctuation, numerals, and spacing within the actual design application.
Use expressive lettering selectively. A decorative headline can work well when supporting details remain simple and readable. Avoid applying elaborate display fonts to prices, phone numbers, addresses, and conditions.
Confirm the font licence permits the intended use. Before sharing editable files, check whether font redistribution is allowed. Follow the printer's agreed method for preserving typography in production files.
Inspect the exported PDF or image, not just the working document. Review a printed proof when practical, especially for small packaging text.
Keep a final approved copy document with the project. This helps trace corrections and prevents outdated copy from reaching customers during the busy festive production schedule.
